When viewing or displaying the program from your VCR: It is possible to select and view any other TV program from your TV while the Direct Recording continues. After pressing DIRECT REC ¥ to start recording, select on your TV the program position of the TV program that you want to view. 2 Press (STOP) to stop recording. 24 Timer Recording 4-Key Programming Up to 16 timer programs, including weekly and daily programs, can be recorded up to one month in advance by setting the timer. Preparations Insert a video cassette tape with an intact erasure prevention tab. Confirm that the TV is on and the VCR viewing channel is selected. Check that the clock is set to the correct time. If it has not been set, refer to page 14. Example: Program position (channel); Date; Starting time; Ending time; Tape speed; Category; (Present date; 16 October) VCR Í PICTURE MODE AUDIO SEARCH VCR/TV 3 Set Program position (channel) to "2". 4 Set Starting time to "20:02".
