This effect is called “panning”. This mode allows you to obtain this effect easier. Press to select shutter speed setting, and then press [MENU/SET] ■■Settings [Auto] [Shutter-Priority] The shutter speed is set automatically. As in [Shutter-Priority] mode (→109), you can rotate the rear dial to set the shutter speed at which to record pictures.
