[. . . ] R "Validity Period": set the time period during which the service centre will try to resend the SMS message if it has not been delivered. R "Status Report": receive status reports to find out whether your sent SMS messages have been successfully delivered or not. R "Reply Path": SMS messages may be sent using another service centre number when this feature is turned on. R "Storage Media": select the memory location of SMS messages from SIM or phone. R "Memory Status": check the amount of current SMS messages. When you have new voicemail messages, is displayed or you receive a text message (SMS), depending on your network operator/ service provider. 1 2 Press and hold M mode. You can also store the contacts in a SIM card with 1 phone number for each contact. The maximum number of contacts that can be stored in a SIM card is dependent on your SIM card. Make sure of the memory location (phone or SIM card) before adding contacts (page 24). Finding and calling from contacts Scrolling through all contacts All contacts stored in the phone and SIM card are displayed. Important: R A maximum of 254 SIM card contacts can be displayed regardless of how many contacts are stored in your SIM card. 1 . Press MCN or R indicates SIM card contacts and indicates the contacts stored in the phone. R To change the input mode for searching the contacts list: N ® MbN: Select the desired input M mode (page 20). ® R To change the input letter case for searching the contacts list, press M N (page 20). 1 2 3 4 ® ® MbN: "Create" ® MbN: "(No name)" ® Enter the party's name (16 characters max. ; page 20). ® R To change the input letter case, press M N (page 20). [. . . ] Remove the SIM card and battery from the phone and leave to dry for at least 3 days. After the phone/charger are completely dry, insert the SIM card and battery into the phone. Then reconnect the AC adaptor to charge fully before use. If the phone does not work properly, contact your place of purchase or nearest Panasonic service centre.
