Then remove the battery while supporting the unit to prevent it from dropping. Move the battery release lever in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the battery when unlocked. The unit is in the standby condition when the AC adaptor is connected. The primary circuit is always "live" as long as the AC adaptor is connected to an electrical outlet. The battery will not be charged if the power is turned on. 1 2 Connect the AC adaptor to this unit's DC input terminal. Connect the AC cable to the AC adaptor, then the AC outlet. Connecting to the AC outlet If you turn on this unit while charging the battery using the AC adaptor, you can use the power supplied from the AC outlet to power the unit for use. Do not leave the battery(ies) in an automobile exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time with doors and windows closed. CAUTION Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. VW-VBL090 is not available for SDR-H85 .
