Inserting the battery
When the battery level is low, the indicator lamp blinks 5 times when the Touch Pen is turned on. (Replacing the battery at an early stage is recommended. Turn and slide the unit cover until the entire shape of the battery is visible. Insert the battery, and slide and turn the unit cover to close it. Unit cover
Close the unit cover until it clicks. nOTE
• Use the specified battery (R03 manganese battery or LR03 alkaline battery). Do not reverse the polarity (positive and negative ) of the battery when inserting. Dispose of the used battery as an incombustible waste or according to the regulations in your area. The unit cover can be opened only up to the point where the battery is placed. Do not forcibly try to open further than that. 7
Registration
Registration to the TV for this use is required when using the Touch Pen for the first time after purchase or using it on another TV. Turn the (plasma) TV on to start registration of the Touch Pen by operation on the TV. For how to start registration of the Touch Pen, see the operating instructions of the TV. Press the power button with the Touch Pen turned off. (When performing registration on another TV again, press the power button for 5 seconds or longer. ) • Registration of the Touch Pen to the TV will start. The indicator lamp blinks in red and green alternately during registration. Place the Touch Pen within 50 cm from the TV during registration.
