After use you can soak the pan for a few minutes and then clean it using mild abrasives or a soap filled pad such as 'Brillo'. Clean the grill shelf using hot soapy water. Follow the instructions on the cleaning agent and protect the oven burner with aluminium foil to prevent it becoming blocked. Follow these simple rules to reduce oven soilage. Do not overfill dishes or they will boil over. Do not put dishes too high in the oven. It is important that the cooker is suitable for your gas supply. Your installer should check the data badge. Ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated: keep natural ventilation holes open or install a mechanical ventilation device (mechanical extractor hood). Prolonged intensive use of the appliance may call for additional ventilation, for example opening of a window, or more effective ventilation, for example increasing the level of mechanical ventilation where present.
