Removable AC Power Cord This receptacle is for the IEC line cord (included), which provides AC power to the unit. Connect the line cord to this connector and to a properly grounded AC supply. Damage to the equipment may occur if an improper line voltage is used (see voltage marking on unit). Never remove or cut the ground pin of the line cord plug. This unit is supplied with a properly rated line cord. When lost or damged, replace this cord with one of the proper ratings. (For UK Only) As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the colored markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: ¥ The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to the terminal which is marked by the letter E, or by the earth symbol, or colored green or green and yellow. ¥ The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N, or coloured black. ¥ The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L, or coloured red. 3 6 7 5 4 3 2 1 2. Power Switch Use this switch to turn the unit on and off. Place the switch in the ÒIÓ position to turn the unit on and ÒOÓ position to turn the unit off. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding plug. The wide blade or third prong is provided for your safety. Connect only to a power supply of the type marked on the unit adjacent to the power supply cord. 8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point they exit from the apparatus.
