NOTE: The limiter circuit is not provided to replace proper set up of the channel level control with regards to input/output levels, etc. NOTE 1: Phantom power is defeated when channel is switched from low level input to high level input. NOTE 2: When shipped from the factory, the A/A-8P has all "dip" switches set in the default position of Phantom Power off (up) and Limiter enabled on each channel (all switches up). To turn on Phantom Power for each channel, the dip switch for that channel should be pushed down to the marker indicating "+48 V (channel #) ON". this will enable Phantom Power to that channel only. To defeat the level limiter on each channel, the dip switch for each channel should be pushed down.
