CT TM 5

Thank you for purchasing the Peavey CTTM-5 cable tester.  [. . . ] Press the button marked "Test". The red LED marked "Battery" should light up. 

Test Procedures:
Simple plug the suspect cable into the correct sockets on the CT-5 and press the "Test" button. The CT-5 will respond with a glowing red "Battery" light. If this light fails to illuminate when the "Test" button is pushed,  replace the battery according to the Battery Installation instructions. With the "Test" button still depressed,  an illuminated green LED shows the cable under test is a good cable. If the green LED does not illuminate,  then the cable under test is defective in some way.
