Intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover. WARNING: To prevent electrical shock or fire hazard, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. [. . . ] Each filter is independent, with the crossover frequency selected via a recessed knob, rotary control, to prevent accidental changing of the critical crossover frequency. Control range is from 60 Hz to 6 kHz and determines the -6 dB crossover point between the low- and high-frequency bands within the channel. In mono MODE this control determines the crossover point between the LOW and MID frequency bands. Each band-pass section features a level control to compensate for the various loudspeaker efficiency ratings. Adjusts the amount of boost within the HF band to compensate for the frequency roll-off and lost of efficiency with some compression drivers. The screwdriver shaft control provides a variable boost from 0 dB to +12 dB at 20 kHz, with first-order slope and excellent phase response. When engaged, reverses the polarity of the signal in the HIGH 1 frequency band to speed up trouble shooting and assure proper phase response of the audio system. This green LED indicates the presence of a signal higher than -22 dBu in the HIGH 1-band even if the band is muted. When engaged eliminates the signal in the HIGH 1 band, to help during the install of the audio system. This red LED indicates when the signal level in the HIGH 1 frequency band is approaching the maximum available headroom of +22 dBu. When this switch is depressed, VSXII is configured as a single channel, 3way, mono crossover. This yellow LED blinks (1Hz) continuously when the VSXII is in stereo mode. It also indicates the control functions for this MODE are depicted on the upper white strip. This yellow LED blinks (1 Hz) continuously when the VSXII is in mono mode. It also indicates the control functions for this MODE are depicted on the lower white strip. Used to optimize the interface gain between the VSXII Channel 2, and the associated mixer. Control range is -20 dB to +20 dB with Unity gain at center (detent) position. Provides a 24 dB per octave roll-off at 40 Hz to reduce subsonic rumble and to protect the low speaker from operating below its cutoff frequency. affects both , the Low and High frequency bands. When not engaged, the low-end roll-off frequency of Channel 2 is below 10 Hz. In mono MODE this filter is not operable. When engaged, reverses the polarity of the signal in the Low frequency band to speed up trouble shooting and assure proper phase response of the audio system. [. . . ] Step 5: For 2-way or 3-way system, the 40 Hz filter may be activated if desired. This feature protects subwoofers from operating below their cut-off frequencies and preserves headroom. (All level controls @ 0 dB, Crossover control @ 1 kHz, 40 Hz LCF off, 22 Hz-22 kHz BW) Each output is -6 dB at the selected crossover frequency due to the true Linkwitz/Riley configuration. Outputs are essentially flat within their relative pass-bands. [. . . ]
