ENGLISH 29 Adjusting the cappuccino lenght Each time the “ ” button is pressed, the machine pours a pre-set quantity of cappuccino into the cup. The machine allows you to adjust the amount of brewed cappuccino according to your taste and the size of your cups. 1 Fill the milk carafe with milk and install it into the machine. 2 Place a cup under the dispensing spout. 3 Press and hold the “ ” button until the ‘MEMO’ icon appears on the display. The machine is now programming. 4 This icon is displayed. The machine reminds you to install the milk Green carafe. Press “ machine will start pouring. ” to confirm. The Yellow 5 The following icon is displayed during pre-heating time required by the machine. 6 When the machine shows the following icon, the machine starts to Green pour milk froth into the cup When the desired milk froth quantity is reached, press the “ ” button. 30 ENGLISH 7 Once the milk froth has been poured, the machine starts brewing Green coffee. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Daily cleaning of the machine Caution: Timely cleaning and maintenance of your machine is very important as it prolongs the life of your machine. Your machine gets exposed to moist, coffee and lime scale continuously!In this chapter it is described in detail which activities you need to perform at which frequency. Not doing this will ultimately make your machine stop working properly. This repair is NOT covered by your warranty! - Note: Use a soft, dampened cloth to clean the machine. Do not wash any of its parts in the dishwasher. Do not use alcohol, solvents, and/or abrasive objects to clean the machine. Other maintenance operations can only be carried out when the machine is turned off and unplugged. 2 Empty and clean the coffee residues drawer located inside of the machine.
