Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone 4S/New iPad. • Remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment. »» The InRange device switches on automatically. »» The power indicator flashes red and green alternately, and the InRange device beeps.
Tip •• To switch off the InRange device, press and hold
for more than 3 seconds until the power indicator turns off and the InRange device beeps. To switch on it again, press and hold until the power indicator flashes red and green and the InRange device beeps.

To replace the battery: Download and install Philips InRange from Apple App Store.

Use the supplied metal pin to eject the battery compartment. Load a CR2016 cell battery with the correct polarity as indicated. Push to close the battery compartment.

Prepare the InRange device
Set up Bluetooth connection
Note •• Before setup, make sure that you have enabled
Bluetooth on your iPhone 4S/New iPad, and the power indicator on the InRange device flashes red and green alternately.

Put the InRange device into the protective pouch, then use the supplied metal lock to secure the pouch.

Attach the InRange device to your valuables (objects), such as a key or bag.

Tap 'Philips AEA1000' to start pairing and connection between your iPhone 4S/New iPad and the InRange device.

Run Philips InRange on your iPhone 4S/ New iPad. »» The iPhone 4S/New iPad starts to search for the available InRange device. »» 'Philips AEA1000' appears on the app screen.
