To Users Updating the Application Program from AVIC-9DVD, AVIC-8DVD The application program of the AVIC-9DVD or AVIC-8DVD are updated by using the CNDV-20 update disc. Please read the cautions on the next page before updating. There is a slight chance that stored user-registered data will be lost upon completion of the update. Please be aware that the manufacturer cannot take any responsibility for lost data in the event data is lost. CNDV-20 Cautions on Updating the Application Program of the Navigation System: · Stop the vehicle at a safe location. [. . . ] Power Voltage The power supply (reference value) provided from the vehicle battery to this unit is shown. If the voltage does not fall within the range of 11 to 15V, check that power cable connection is correct. Illumination When the headlights or small lamps of a vehicle are on, "On" is displayed. When the headlights of a vehicle are off, "Off" is displayed. (If the orange/white lead is not connected, "Off" appears. Back Signal When the gear lever is shifted to "R", the signal switches to "High" or "Low". Check that it is properly displayed when the selector lever is shifted with the brake pedal depressed if the reversegear signal input lead (see "Installation Manual") is connected. The following example describes how to change settings.
