With LDs and CD-Gs, the karaoke bird characters, score and other indications are displayed in black and white. X If you are using a projection TV, avoid using SCORING and COMPETITION for extended periods of time. X With SCORING and COMPETITION, you cannot use the surround function. After a few seconds, you return to step 2. As you sing into the mic, your voice is compared with the vocal recorded on the disc. Select the desired song number with the digit buttons and DISC SIDE A/B button (LDs only). ¶ When the reserved songs have played, reservation details are erased from memory in the order in which songs were reserved. ¶ When the last reserved song finishes playing, the player pauses or stops. ¶ Press the Next ¢ button, and the next reserved song starts playing. Even if you press the Previous 4 button, you do not return to the previous reserved song. Instead, you return to the start of the currently playing song. ¶ Reserving songs is not possible with DVDs that have a Menu function. ¶ Chapter reservation is not possible with DVDs. 0 with PBC), if you do not switch Playback Control OFF with the remote control or on the main unit (the PLAYBACK CONTROL indicator on the front panel goes out), you cannot reserve a song.
