If the red light on the base unit is flashing your headset is not paired with the base, in order to pair the headset with base follow the instructions below: Both the headset and base need to be in pairing mode simultaneously in order for the units to `find' each other. Setting the base into pairing mode: 1) Ensure that the base in plugged in correctly and the red power light is on and flashing 2) Press and hold the +and - buttons at the back if the base unit until the light on the top of the base flashes green 3) The base is now in pairing mode Setting the headset into pairing mode: 1) Ensure that the headset is fully charged 2) Put headset into charging base 3) Press and hold the volume + and answer button simultaneously until orange light stays on constantly Pairing is successful if "Red" power light stops flashing and orange light turns off.
