2. To record video, use the device controls to begin playing video or recording on the input device, then press the Record button on this device's on-screen control panel. When you have obtained the desired video, stop the recording by pressing the Record button again. Recording stops, and you see your video file in the Video Library located in the bottom-right section of the Capture window.

Configuring Your Input Device
In the control panel for many input devices, a configuration button lets you change configuration settings. When you click the configuration button , you see tabs for you to choose in order to change to the optimal settings. (Some settings will be grayed out and inaccessible depending on which device you use. )

View and listen to your media content. If your project is already arranged, you can preview it by pressing the Play button. If you have already placed transitions into your storyboard, the preview window will also play them. Stores all your files for easy access when you are adding them to your project. [. . . ] Plextor will then return the RMA form to you via e-mail, with the RMA number and shipping information included. When you receive the RMA number, pack the Plextor ConvertX securely in a box, and include the RMA form as a packing slip. Write the RMA number in large letters on the outside of the box, and ship the box and the ConvertX to Plextor.
