In some circumstances a photographer will need to fire faster than the recycle times permit. [. . . ] Take both thumbs and push the cover away from you. It will slide out far enough to remove the batteries but cannot come out of the case entirely. Be sure to reinstall the batteries properly. The plus (+) and minus (-) markings designate the end of the battery that is showing through the hole. There is also a label inside the battery channel that shows the proper battery orientation. Batteries should last for about 300 hours of operation. Your SpeedCycler is a rugged piece of equipment. However, to insure continued reliability, please follow these guidelines: · Do not subject the unit to high mechanical shock (don't drop it!) · Damage may occur to some components if the SpeedCycler is stored below -20°C (-4°F) or above +85°C (185°F). · Do not connect any device to this unit unless that device is approved for use by LPA Design. Connection to unapproved devices may cause damage and will void your warranty. · Remove the batteries when storing the unit for an extended amount of time. · To clean the SpeedCycler, use a lightly dampened cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
