Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause interference in which case the user, at his own expense, will be required to take whatever measures may be necessary to correct the interference. Programming the remote control You can program two keys on the remote control, PROG 1 and PROG 2, to execute commonly-used functions or to gain access to a setting that you frequently need to adjust. To program the PROG 1 and PROG 2 keys, open the projector menus and choose Preferences. Choose the key you want to program (PROG 1 or PROG 2) and assign the function or setting you want to use. Note: If you want to assign one of the Polaroid F/X effects to one of the programmable keys, you must select Host in the Preferences menu. 60 Using the projector Saving a user profile The Polaview Model 305 Projector permits two presenters to save their settings and recall them each time they give presentations. To save current video settings as a profile, open the projector menus and choose Advanced, User. Then select User A or User B, and adjust each setting you want to save. By exiting the projector menus, you save your settings as a profile. Note: You cannot save sense-line and front/rear settings as part of the profile. Sense-line settings are automatically set when you turn on the monitor that is connected to the projector. When you want to use your profile, open the projector menus and choose Advanced, User then select your profile (User A or User B). The settings take effect immediately.
