 [. . . ] How to Load the SprintScan 4000 APS Film Carrier
Note: The APS carrier is an optional item,  available at an extra cost. 
The white tag on the end of the cartridge must appear at "4, " indicating that the film has been processed. 

1.  [. . . ] Verify that the INDICATOR flag on the carrier has turned white to indicate the door has locked. 

4. Lower the door on the front of the scanner. 

6. Insert the APS carrier into the scanner in the direction indicated by the arrows on the carrier,  and wait for the scanner to engage the carrier and pull it in. 

7. Raise the door on the front of the scanner. 

8. Start the PolaColor Insight Software and follow the software instructions to select and scan a frame. Refer to the PolaColor Insight Help (Windows systems only) or the online User's Guide.  [. . . ] Select Eject Film from the scanner menu.  [. . . ]
