[. . . ] WARNING: Proper insulation of the water lines below the heater is required if below freezing temperatures, below 32°F, are ever anticipated. 8 716 473 148 13 Operation instructions 4 4. 1 Operation instructions For your safety read before operating your water heater Warning: If you do not follow these instructions exactly, a fire or explosion may result causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life. In that case, repeatedly open and close the hot water tap in order to restart the ignition process until all the air has been purged. Turn the hot water faucet on to the minimum flow rate required to activate the heater. The automatic ignition system first ignites the safety pilot burner which then ignites the main burner in about 4 seconds. The pilot flame will extinguish 10-30 seconds after the burners come on. The burners will remain on until the hot water tap is turned off. For maximum power, slide gas valve button all the way to the right. A.
