Installing EKM with IBM Java disables functioning Sun Java plug-in and i2000 RMI interface does not function after EKM install. Q-EKM enabled systems with more than 36 LTO-4 drives may fail with key/ASC/ASCQ: 4/ee/e. This type of failure only occurs during extremely high amounts of key requests (or move medium commands). Drives failed to autolevel to specified firmware image during library bundle upgrade. Workaround No applicable workaround is available. Since the Mozilla Firefox Java plug-in is not impacted by the EKM installation, it is recommended to use Firefox if there are issues. [. . . ] As long as a valid IP is entered, there are no issues. Due to lack of data and inability to reproduce the problem, no applicable workaround is available. When the FC ports fail over the host needs to re-login (PLOGI + PRLI) to the FCB. Re-login requires that reservations be re-established. [. . . ]
