Insert up to four pairs of AAA/AA batteries or up to four C/D batteries into the battery bay as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and ­ ) marked inside each bay. To insert a 9V battery, connect it to the terminals inside the bay. Plug the supplied AC adapter's barrel plug into the jack on the back of the charger, then plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet. 4. To discharge AAA, AA, C, or D batteries, press REFRESH once.
