If you cannot eliminate the interference, the FCC requires that you stop using your charger. Insert up to four pairs of AAA/AA batteries or up to four C/D batteries into the battery bay as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and ­ ) marked inside each bay. To insert a 9V battery, connect it to the terminals inside the bay. Plug the supplied AC adapter's barrel plug into the jack on the back of the charger, then plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet. 4. To discharge AAA, AA, C, or D batteries, press REFRESH once. When the batteries are fully discharged, the green indicator turns off and the red charging indicator (or indicators) lights. A charging indicator lights for each bay containing batteries. When AAA, AA, C, or D batteries are fully charged, The charging indicator turns off. To charge a 9V battery, insert it into one of the terminals inside either bay. To charge a second 9V battery at the same time, insert it into the remaining terminal. When you finish, unplug the adapter from the AC outlet, then remove the batteries from the charger. · · · Recycle Rechargeable Batteries Placing rechargeable batteries in the trash can be harmful to the environment. Instead, recycle old rechargeable batteries at your local RadioShack store free of charge.
