(See Chapter 6. ) Scroll Speed This menu item enables you to start and stop the bottom graph display from moving across the screen. · · ON starts the bottom graph display. PAUSED stops the bottom graph display. Note: The PAUSED setting doesn't stop sonar pinging. Digital depth continues to be calculated while scrolling is paused. The default is ON. Range By default, the sounder automatically adjusts the display range, selecting the shallowest range that keeps the bottom in the lower half of the display window. Alternatively, the Range setting enables you to select the maximum depth displayed on the scrolling bottom and A-Scope displays. [. . . ] Check that the transducer paddlewheel is clean. If necessary, adjust the SPEED CALIBRATE parameter.
