Open the rearfacing belt clamp on the side near the vehicle seat belt buckle. Pull the seat belt out fully holding lap and shoulder sections together and route through the rearfacing belt path. While pressing on one armrest of the Signo, remove slack from shoulder belt. To help securely tighten the Signo, press down on the other armrest and remove any remaining slack from seatbelt. Repeat as needed until the Signo cannot be moved more than one inch (2. 5 cm) in any direction. When the seat belt is tight, close the belt clamp over both lap and shoulder belt sections, locking the seat belt webbing. 7 8 8. The bottom of the base should be level with the ground.
