Manual abstract: user guide RED CASTLE BASE PRIMA

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] It is approved under Regulation Nº 44, series of amendments 04, for general use in vehicles and is suitable for most, although not all, vehicle seats. It can be correctly installed if the vehicle manufacturer has stated in the instruction manual that a "UNIVERSAL" retention system for this age group can be installed in the vehicle. This retention system has been classed as "UNIVERSAL" under stricter conditions than those applied to previous designs that do not carry this warning. [. . . ] It is advisable to cover the base up, when it is not in use, to prevent the child from possibly getting burnt. Always use the base, even on short journeys, and never leave the child unattended in the vehicle. ⷠTake the base out of the vehicle whenever it is not going to be used and keep it out of the reach of children. ⷠMake sure that any luggage or other objects that could cause injuries in the event of a collision are securely fastened. ⷠIn the event of an emergency it is important that the child can be unfastened quickly, therefore the seat belt clasp should never be covered up. It is advisable to teach the child never to play with the clasp. ⷠWe guarantee the safety of the product when it is used by the original buyer, do not use second-hand safety seats or devices. ⷠThe other passengers in the vehicle should also wear their seat belts, since in the event of an accident they may get flung about and injure the baby. ⷠRegularly check the clasp, harness and other parts that may become loose or suffer from wear and tear through use. ⷠMake sure that the upholstery on the vehicle seat does not make it difficult to tighten the seat belt correctly. ⷠRemember that you are responsible for the child's safety. Fit the "U" shaped tube into the slots on the base, until you hear the fastening click of the side buttons. Pull the front handle until the rocking platform is released. Pull the button to make sure it is released. [. . . ] To remove the RC/RCS groupe 0, pull the front handle with one hand and with the other hand remove it from the base. Bear in mind the baby's weight when choosing the position of the backrest in the vehicle: A: up to 5 kg. IMPORTANT: Adjust the seat belt tension every time you change the position of the backrest.
