5. Makesurethatnoairisleakingfromyourmaskintoyoureyes. Ifitis, adjustthemaskand headgear until the air leak stops. See the instructions provided with your mask for more information. Asmallamountofmaskleakisnormalandacceptable. Correctlargemaskleaksoreye irritation from an air leak as soon as possible.
If you are using the device in bed, try placing the tubing from the device over your headboard. If you are having trouble with your mask, refer to the instructions supplied with the mask. You must remove the mask and patient circuit before you get out of bed.

The device is equipped with an optional ramp feature that your home care provider can enable or disable. This feature reduces the air pressure when you are trying to fall asleep and then gradually increases (ramps) the pressure until your prescription setting is reached, allowing you to fall asleep more comfortably.
