[. . . ] Each room in Multiroom operation, apart from the main room, needs a Re:connect M219 room amplifier. This communicates with the Re:system M51 source management and receives the request music signal in response. The optional Re:control M217 Display and M218 Operating panel are connected to the Re:connect M219, enabling you to control the Revox Multiroom system from each room, usually with just the press of single button. Connection Revox offers you a wealth of options for controlling your Multiroom system in the additional rooms. Amongst these are a simple wall-mounted wall operating panel, which, through its design can be integrated into many light switch programmes, an informative display as well as discrete, unobtrusive solutions such as the integration of an infrared receiver into a speaker. The control units send the commands to the Re:connect M219 and from there, they are transferred onto the Re:system M51. Irrespective of what type of control option is selected, your individual musical requests can be fulfilled with the press of single switch; as simple as turning a light on. Control Multiroom is controlled very simply through the operator units. The Re:control M217 Display always shows the actual status and the active source, for example the radio station that is playing or the title of the current track. When you integrate a Revox Server, this can also be controlled through the Display with a search function by track, genre, album, artist or indiGira M217 / M218 vidually programmed playlists. While the music is playing, the artist and track appear on the display. Each room can be assigned its own name through Re:system M51 source management making operation of the system very simple, particularly when using a WLAN. Gira M217 / M218 Feller M217 / M218 Feller M217 / M218 You can assign up to four timer events to each room that can also be programmed through the Re:control M217 Display in the corresponding room. With each event, you define a start and end time, weekday (with the option to differentiate between working and weekend days), the source and the volume. The Timer software also has a Sleep function allowing you to programme up to 90 minutes of music to lull you gently off to sleep. Central unit At the heart of the Revox Multiroom system is Re:system M51 source management. It coordinates and manages all the commands from all the listening zones and controls the entertainment experience in each connected room. The simplicity of the control and handling of the Re:system M51 is mirrored throughout the operation of the complete Multiroom system. With the Revox Multiroom system, each additional room can easily access Re:system M51 source management and the Re:source audio server using the display on the Re:control M217 remote control, giving you a consistent operating concept throughout the whole house. Re:system M51 source management can be controlled from anywhere in the house over a WLAN connection, with the Re:control M231 (Windows CE for Pocket PCs) software. Re:control M231 mirrors the Re:system M51 display 1:1, further supporting a uniform operating structure throughout the whole system. Using the Re:control M208 Remote control, the Re:source M37 can be controlled from each room through the display integrated into the remote control.
