If you have saved the remote codes in the device or the soft key,  "Delete" function will erase not only the icons but also the remote codes. You will see a message to confirm your decision,  when the Re:control some codes are saved in your target. 

3. 7 Pre-code
The Re:control M207 is equipped with a mass pre-programmed code database. With the function,  you are able to load the code for your device. It also enables you to control your device even if you lose your original remote. Please press the button for 1 second to enter Setup Menu. And then enter "Code Setting" menu. Please choose the " Pre-code" item and press the button to enter the submenu. You will see the indication for the function. After reading the tips by or to read the information pages. After reading press the button to exit and enter the next step. Please select the device which you want to load the remote codes. After pressing the soft key,  you will see the help guide for the function. After reading the tips,  please press the button to go to the next step.

6. You just need to select the first letter of your brand. For example,  if your device belongs to Sony,  please select "S" as your brand . 
In this page,  you will find out an icon . It is "Key Pad Entry" function. You can key in the code number for your device directly. In this way,  you are able to save the time to load the corresponding codes. However,  each brand may have several remote codes. You may need to load the remote codes for some times to find out the correct codes for your device.

7. After selecting "Brand" item ,  please make sure that the device is turned on.  [. . . ] The maximum operating distance is approximately 10 meters (30 feet). Ensure that you are aiming the Re:control M207 directly at the device and that there are no obstructions between the Re:control M207 and the device.
