Use CURSOR [ ][ ] to move the cursor to MFX, making it the current effect. MFX will be enclosed in a frame and highlighted. 3. Use the VALUE dial to change the setting of the Routing parameter. This sets the MFX routing. Value Off Input AUX1­4 Master Routing and result MFX will not be used. The effect will apply to the signal received from the input jack. MFX will be routed to AUX bus mixer 1­4 respectively. The internal AUX buses will be used, letting you use MFX as a loop-type effect. MFX will be routed to the master out, and will process all of the sounds mixed together. If the Routing parameter is set to Input The MFX will be routed to the input of the mixer. Since this setting allows you to apply an effect to the input sound, such as the signal arriving via an analog input, it is useful when sampling or recording to an audio track. If the Routing parameter is set to AUX 1 The MFX will be routed to the AUX 1 of the mixer. With this setting, you can set the Output Assign parameter of audio tracks or instruments to AUX 1, and apply the effect to their combined output. If the Routing parameter is set to Master The MFX will be routed to the master out. Since this setting applies the effect to the mixed sound of all outputs, it is appropriate when you want to use the MFX as a master effect. 12 Using effects Applying an effect to the sound from an input Here's how to apply an effect to the input audio, such at that received via the analog inputs. 1.
