Before using this unit, carefully read the sections entitled: "IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS" (page 2), "USING THE UNIT SAFELY" (page 3­4), and "IMPORTANT NOTES" (page 5­6). These sections provide important information concerning the proper operation of the unit. Additionally, in order to feel assured that you have gained a good grasp of every feature provided by your new unit, owner's manual should be read in its entirety. Rotate [GUITAR TYPE] to select "12 STRING/ELECTRIC" (GK S1/S2). Press MEMORY button [1] , [2] , [3], or [4] to select the functions for the S1 and S2 buttons. Set the GK pickup's select switch to "SYNTH. " 2. Rotate [GUITAR TYPE] to select "SITAR" (GK LEVEL). Press a MEMORY button [1]­[10] to set the level for the GK pickup. The level increases the higher you set the value, resulting in higher volume levels. No separate action is needed to save the settings. Move the select switch of the GK pickup between "SYNTH" and "GUITAR, " and adjust the volume balance while playing your instrument in each position.
