THE STAINLESS STEEL PARTS To clean the stainless steel parts, use one the special cleaning products that are readily available in the shops. UNPACKING THE HOB : you will find the small bag containing the injectors, the fixing screw, and the clips. Both the unit into which the hob will be fitted and any adjacent kitchen furniture must be made of heat resistant material and fixed with heat resistant adhesive. A panel must be placed at least 1 cm minimum below the hob unit in order to allow the adequate circulation of the air around. Take care to keep a minimum 5 cm space between the appliance and the nearby kitchen units. a foam adhesive seal is supplied with the hob. Stick this seal under the edge of the body as near as possible to the outer edge of the hob. Press round the edges of the hob, so that the seal flattens out and ensures an air tight seal. When placing the hob in the cut-out section, try to push it as far as possible to the edging side. the hob is then centred in relation to the cut-out. The body of the hob is fitted with 4 location holes to take the fixing bars intended to fix the hob in the unit. Place the 4 fixing bars in such a way that the hob surface is placed perfectly in the support unit. It is recommended that the fixing holes not used are blanked off with the fixing screws. Warning : at the rear of the appliance, take care not to choke the air outlets necessary to the combustion. The following technical instructions are intended for installers. Before connecting, it is compulsory to check the line voltage indicated on the electrical meter, circuit breaker rating, and the calibre of the fuse 10 A.
