[. . . ] 7 Pull the handle upwards, to open the appliance up. 8 Use a finger to rotate the turntable clockwise, to move the jar grips as far apart as they'll go. 9 Fit the bottom of the jar between the jar grips. 11 Gently press the handle down, till it touches the top of the lid. 12 Now press a bit more, to switch the motor on. a) the turntable will rotate b) the jar grips will move inwards, to grip the bottom of the jar c) the lid grips will move inwards to grip the lid 13 Stop pressing the handle when the lid comes loose. 14 Pull the handle upwards, to open the appliance up. 15 Use a finger to rotate the turntable clockwise, to move the jar grips far enough apart to release the jar. 17 Remove the lid from the jar.
