Water could penetrate into the electronics and cause damage. 16 Cleaning and Care Grease filter The reusable metal grease filter removes solid particles from the vented kitchen air (grease, dust, etc). In a Miele dishwasher use the "Normal" program Use the recommended amount of dishwasher detergent. Depending on the detergent, cleaning the grease filter in a dishwasher may cause permanent discoloration of the filter surface.
