To avoid severe damage to the impeller, do not vacuum metal, broken glass, etc. Do not overreach or use the unit from unstable surfaces such as ladders, trees, steep slopes, rooftops, etc. Do not vacuum warm ash from fireplaces, barbecue pits, etc. Do not vacuum discarded cigars or cigarettes unless the cinders are completely cool. Do not put part of your body such as hands and fingers in the vacuum opening or exhaust opening, etc. This appliance is equipped with an on/off switch (1). To turn the unit on, slide the switch to forward (direction A). And to turn the unit off, slide the switch to backward (direction B). Note: To ensure safety (prevent accidents), safety switches are installed for the nozzle and dust bag. The appliance's switch cannot be turned on unless the nozzle and dust bag are correctly attached. Loosen the two screws (2) with a screwdriver (+). Align the protruding part (3) of the nozzle with the groove (5) on the main body of the unit and insert the nozzle (4) into the main body of the unit. When removing the nozzle, loosen the two screws and pull out the nozzle. Do not connect the power supply before attaching the nozzle. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when it is not in use and before servicing. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the appliance is in safe working condition. Keep your appliance in good working condition. Only an AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER or other QUALIFIED SERVICE ORGANIZATION should perform maintenance procedures that are not described in this manual.
