Saw should never be connected to power supply when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, installing or removing blades, or when not in use. As mentioned previously your saw has been factory assembled and adjusted. To install the miter lock handle, place the threaded stud on the end of the miter lock handle into the threaded hole in the miter table control arm. Turn clockwise to tighten. Failure to do so could cause an accident since blade will not tighten properly. s Fit saw blade inside lower blade guard and onto spindle. The blade teeth point downward at the front of saw as shown in figure 11. The direction of blade rotation is also stamped with an arrow on the upper blade guard. The double "D" flats on the blade washers align with the flats on the spindle. Depress spindle lock button and replace blade bolt. [. . . ] Brush assembly is spring loaded and will pop out when you remove brush cap. Do not replace one side without replacing the other. Make sure curvature of brush matches curvature of motor and that brush moves freely in brush tube. Make sure brush cap is oriented correctly (straight) and replace. [. . . ]
