If access to the SIM card is protected, the phone prompts you to enter the PIN number: between 4 and 8 digits given to you when the SIM card was issued. These digits do not appear on the screen for security reasons. Contacts Enter the Contacts menu, the contacts list is displayed if you already have some (otherwise, go to Storing a new contact).
