E-25 Cleaning Your Air Conditioner For the best use of your air conditioner, you must clean it every two weeks regularly to remove the dust that accumulates on the air filter. IMPORTANT 1 Air inlet cover Before cleaning your air conditioner, ensure that you have switched off the breaker used for the unit. Open the air inlet cover, then pull out the air filters. 2 Remove all dust on the air filters with a vacuum cleaner or brush. 3 When you have finished, insert the air filters into the original position and close the air inlet cover. 4 Clean the unit with a damp cloth and mild detergent (do NOT use benzene, solvents or other chemicals). Note x If you have not used the air conditioner for a long period of time, set the fan going for three to four hours to dry the inside of the air conditioner thoroughly. E-26 To Clean the Filter You have to clean the filter once a month and cleaning cycle depends on the time that the air conditioner is used. 1 Open the front panel, then pull out the filter. 2 Clean the Note filter with tepid running water. x Do not disassemble the filter when you clean the filter.
