English INSTALL VF5023 TO RACK RAILS Using rack rail screws attach the VF5023 to any 1U location on a 19 in. Elevated Operating Ambient - If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack environment may be greater than room ambient. Therefore, consideration should be given to installing the equipment in an environment compatible with the maximum ambient temperature (0-40°C/32-104°F) specified by the manufacturer. Reduced Air Flow - Installation of the equipment in a rack should be such that the amount of air flow required for safe operation of the equipment is not compromised. Mechanical Loading - Mounting of the equipment in the rack should be such that a hazardous condition is not achieved due to uneven mechanical loading. Circuit Overloading - Consideration should be given to the connection of the equipment to the supply circuit and the effect that overloading of the circuits might have on overcurrent protection and supply wiring. Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be used when addressing this concern. Connected Equipment Damage Warranty Sanus Systems will also provide you with a remedy for damage to connected equipment if (i) you have a claim that is covered by the limited product warranty described above, and (ii) Sanus Systems receives a formal warranty claim from you before the end of the warranty period for damage to connected applicable to the affected product. If the conditions listed in the preceding sentence are met, Sanus Systems will provide you with one of the following remedies, provided that it may decide at its sole discretion which remedy it provides. Sanus Systems will (1) replace the damaged connected equipment; (2) pay to repair the damaged connected equipment; or (3) pay you the fair market value of the connected equipment, provided that such payments shall not exceed (i) the maximum coverage amount for the product, or (ii) the amount of actual damage caused by power surges due to a product defect. nOTE: Compensation for restoration of data loss is not covered AND SANUS SYSTEMS DOES NOT ASSUME ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL , CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. This Connected Equipment Damage Warranty does NOT cover damage caused by lightening or lightening strikes. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
