[. . . ] Unlike conventional records, compact discs have no grooves to collect dust and microscopic debris, so gently wiping them with a cloth should remove most particles. Wipe in a straight motion from the inside to the outside of the disc. Car Stereo COMPACT DIGITAL AUDIO Dirty. scratched or warped discs may cause skipping or noise. Pay attention to the following: Handle the disc only by the edges. To keep the disc clean, do not touch the surface of the disc.
