ASSEMBLY NOTES: 1. After cleaning the shafts and , apply a drop of oil (VHJ-0099) to each. After assembly, clean the side of the supply reel assembly . CLUTCH MOUNTING ASSEMBLY (See Fig. 3-12-2) 1) Refer to section 3-3-1 and remove the cassette mechanism assembly. 2) Refer to section 3-12-1 and remove the reel pulley. 3) Remove the two screws , then remove the clutch mounting assembly . Shaft ASSEMBLY NOTES: 1. Align the two holes with the shafts and . Be careful not to press part A of the clutch mounting assembly against the band brake assembly. [. . . ] 2) Press the tracking buttons (tracking + and tracking ­ ) simultaneously and set the tracking to the centre. 3) Using an oscilloscope, observe the waveform of the video head output. 4) Loosen the two fixed screws on the audio R/P head (ACE head) by between 20° and 30° anticlockwise. 5) Using a slotted screwdriver, adjust the position of the audio R/P head (ACE head).
