[. . . ] The content that you can search for includes pages, page templates, portlets, and content items. Content items can be applications, links, syndication channels, files, SAS Information Maps, packages, publication channels, SAS Reports, and SAS Stored Processes. For the keyword, you can enter a single word, multiple words, or a phrase. Alternatively, you can enter a single asterisk (*) wildcard to search all keywords without any filtering. You can search by entering an item's name, description, or keywords. For the content type, you can select any of the check boxes, but you must select at least one content type as the basis for your search. After performing a search, in the search results page you can bookmark items that you want to keep, and you can e-mail an item's URL address to someone else. If you have the appropriate authorization, you can also edit and delete items. Using Bookmarks The search feature is often used in conjunction with bookmarks. When you locate an item through a search, you can bookmark that item, and the item is automatically added to your personal Bookmarks portlet. A publication channel is a virtual communication path that is identified with a particular topic, organizational group, user audience, or other category. A publication channel is similar to a radio channel that is identified with a particular frequency. Your site administrator defines the publication channels for your organization.
