Prior to the performing any work on the unit, its installation, commissioning, use or maintenance, the personnel in charge of these operations must be familiar with all the instructions and recommendations contained in the unit's installation manual. [. . . ] Saunier Duval thanks you for purchasing this unit. This product contains, amongst others, the following characteristics: Low noise emission from both the indoor and outdoor units. Use to switch the indoor and outdoor unit ON/OFF. If it is locked, we cannot use any mode function or On/Off in the unit until it is unlocked. The COOL, DRY, HEAT, AUTO modes can be set during the nighttime hours to reduce the operation sound when sleeping, etc. In order to activate: With the unit connected Press the SLEEP button to reduce the air flow sound from the indoor unit. Press the SLEEP button once more to release this mode. The SLEEP mode should only be used at night. If it is used uring the day, the cooling/heating capacity will be reduced since the room temperature is too high (COOL mode). The unit is operational for a maximum of 24 hours in SLEEP mode. In COOL mode The ambient temperature gradually increases 2ºC in relation to the configured one to ensure that the temperature does not drop excessively during sleeping hours. In HEAT mode The ambient temperature gradually decreases 5ºC in relation to the configured one to ensure that the temperature does not rise excessively during sleeping hours. - During the first operating hour of the SLEEP function, the ambient temperature will drop 2ºC below the configured temperature. [. . . ] If the unit is not being used for a long period of time, remove the batteries. Two alkaline dry batteries (R03/LR03 x 2) are required for the remote control. Slide open the battery cover on the rear of the remote control according to the arrow direction. Insert two batteries and ensure the + and ­ contacts are in the correct positions. [. . . ]
