Air in pipes Important: A central heating system can not operate correctly unless it is filled with water and air bled from the system. If these conditions are not met the system may be noisy. Bleed the air in the radiators and adjust the pressure if system requires. If the system requires filling to often this may be due to minor leaks or corrosion in the system. Gas installation If conversion from G20 to 30 or 31 is required, refer to section 13. It is recommended that any air is purged from the supply at the gas purge point on the gas valve, see diagram 12. 1. Filling the system The following steps 1 - 8, show how to fill the system.
