Turn the SELECT WASH CYCLE knob (each wash cycle has a corresponding water hardness level) and position it on the pre-set level. : water hardness level 1 ("1" appears on the display); water hardness level 2 ("2" appears on the display); water hardness level 3 ("3" appears on the display), etc. - To exit the function, wait approximately 30 seconds or switch the machine off using the ON/OFF button. Even if using multi-functional tablets, the salt dispenser should still be filled. If you do not add salt or rinse aid, the LOW SALT* and LOW RINSE AID* indicator lights remain lit.
