Otherwise, the LCD monitor will get dust on the screen or be damaged by an unexpected shock. · Do not turn the LCD monitor without opening up vertically. Otherwise, it may scratch the disc cover. GB­10 BASIC SETUP Using the Remote Control · Point the remote control at the IR sensor located on the unit. · When there is a strong ambient light source, the performance of the infrared IR sensor may be degraded, causing unreliable operation. · The recommended effective distance for remote operation is about 16 feet (5 meters). Take out the PVC sheet before operating the remote control. To Change Remote Control Battery 1. Insert one CR2025 (3V) size battery with correct polarity marked on the battery door. CR2025 OP EN Battery Placement When battery become weak, the operating distance of the remote control is greatly reduced and you will need to replace the battery. NOTES : · If the remote control is not to be used for a long time, remove the battery to avoid damage caused by battery leakage corrosion. · WARNING : Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
