To ensure its optimum performance, please read the instructions in this booklet carefully before using it. Please keep this manual handy for ready reference. [. . . ] *BeforeswitchingthedisplaymodefromtheSTOPWATCHmodetotheCALENDAR/ALARM mode, makesurethatthestopwatchhasbeenreset. 8 *Whilethestopwatchiscounting, thebuttonBisusedfor"SPLIT, ""SPLITRELEASE, "or "RESET"functions. * When all the hands are correctly positioned, there is no need to adjusttheirpositions. * When any hand requires its position adjustment, complete thehandpositionadjustment procedurefirst, andthenmoveon tothetimesettingprocedure.
