If you have selected TIMER, press the Cursor UP/DOWN buttons E/ F to select START or END: START: To enter the hour and minutes, from the beginning of protection, with the Cursor LEFT/RIGHT buttons C/ I . END: To enter the hour and minutes, to the end of protection, with the Cursor LEFT/RIGHT buttons C/ I . Press the MENU button q to close the LOCK PROGRAMME Menu. From this time forward, whenever the protection conditions are met, the screen will be blocked and the «LOCKED MODE» message will be displayed. Press any number key on the remote control to unlock the TV. Note: Since the "key" for unlocking the TV is the remote control, make sure you do not misplace it. CLEAR LOCK Menu CLEAR LOCK Menu This option enables you to erase all the adjustments made to the CHILD-LOCK function. Press the BLUE button to confirm that you want to erase the child lock settings. Press the BLUE button to clear all the child lock system POSTCODE LOCK ALL LOCK PROGRAMME CLEAR LOCK BLUE Use the CLEAR LOCK to cancel any previously set CHILD LOCK programmes to avoid malfunction when a new program is set. Note: In order for the timed protection to function correctly, the internal TV clock must be set at the right time. To check the time setting see section -Automatic or Manual time adjustment- (page 29). 31 Postcode Security This option allows you to set a code, which will be displayed at TV switch on time. a SET PASSWORD AND POSTCODE, OR CHANGE POSTCODE 1. Press the RED button (POSTCODE) to see the PASSWORD Menu. OFF TIMER STATUS HELP ---ON SECURITY DEMO TIMERS AV-LINK PASSWORD Menu It is indispensable to enter the password in order to continue configuring the Postcode Security. Enter the 4-digits using the number buttons 0 to 9. When the password is first entered, the TV will ask for confirmation. If this is the case, enter the same 4-digits again to confirm the password. When the password has been set, the POSTCODE Menu will appear on screen. Press the Cursor UP/DOWN buttons E/ F to select "POSTCODE". The red point mark indicates the selected parameter. Press the Cursor RIGHT I button to select the first position of the Postcode.
