Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Disconnect the oven from the power supply before installation. Make sure that the EBR-4900 is the correct surround for your oven. The Sharp Microwave Ovens are designed to either stand neatly on a kitchen counter top or to be built into a fitted kitchen cabinet using the surround. The EBR-4900 surround will become hot during oven operation. [. . . ] If the appliance is ever removed from the cabinet it should be re-installed in accordance with these instructions, which should be kept in a safe place for future reference. The mains plug must be accessible after installation or an all-pole switch disconnection must be provided with a contact separation of at least 3 mm in each pole. (For Continental use) The electric outlet must be installed at 150 mm high from the floor of the built-in cabinet and at 50 mm from the right wall of the built-in cabinet as shown in Fig. The mains plug must be accessible after installation or the oven must be connected to an electric circuit provided with an all-pole switch (contact gap no less than 3 mm) to disconnect the oven in case of danger. A safety-device such as a fuse in the installation may be used as a switch. Set the spacing brackets 1 on the shelf along the right and left walls of the kitchen cabinet, keeping a distance of 17 mm between the front end of the shelf and the spacing brackets, and attach them with the four screws 9, as shown in Fig. Caution: The arrow marks on each spacing bracket should be pointing towards you. Remove one screw E holding the back plate F to the rear of the oven as shown in Fig. And release the tab of the back plate F from the slit of the rear of the oven. Loosen two screws G and H holding the outer wrap to the rear of the oven as shown in Fig. Install the exhaust duct 2 to the rear of the oven by tightening two screws G and H (loosened at step 5) as shown in Fig. Insert the tab of the back plate F into the slit of the rear of the oven. And install the back plate F to the rear of the oven with one screw E (removed at step 4) as shown in Fig. Caution: Fasten screw E loosely for step 10. Remove screw J from the oven as shown in Fig. Let the power supply cord pass through the hole of the lower side of the intake duct 3 as shown in Fig. Install the intake duct 3 to the rear of the oven with two screws E and J (removed at step 8) as shown in Fig. Caution: Avoid pinching the power supply cord between the oven and the intake duct 3. [. . . ] Secure the built-in frame element 7 through the holes of the built-in frame side elements 8 to the kitchen cabinet with two screws 0 as shown in Fig. 8, or the kitchen cabinet door may touch the built-in frame elements. [. . . ]
