(Preset tuning) s To recall a memorised station When in the tuner mode, press the PRESET (X or W) button to seX lect the desired station. 1 2 - Listening to a Memorised Station - Perform the steps 1 - 3 in "Listening to the Radio" on page 20. Press the MEMORY/ENTER button to enter the preset tuning saving mode. Within 5 seconds, press the PRESET (X or W) button to select the preset channel number. s To clear all memorised stations 1 Press the CLEAR/DELETE button on the remote control for 3 seconds or more. 2 Within 10 seconds, press the MEMORY/ENTER button. 3 Radio Store the stations in memory, in order, starting with preset channel 1. 4 Within 5 seconds, press the MEMORY/ENTER button to store that station in memory. If the "MEMORY" and preset number indicators go out before the station is memorised, repeat the operation from step 2. 5 Repeat steps 1 - 4 to set other stations, or to change a preset station. When a new station is stored in memory, the station previously memorised will be erased. These FM stations send additional signals along with their regular programme signals. They send their station names, and information about the type of programme such as sports or music, etc. When tuned to an RDS station, "RDS" and the station name will be displayed. "TP" (Traffic Programme) will appear on the display when the received broadcast carries traffic information, and "TA" (Traffic Announcement) will appear whilst a traffic information is on air (see page 28). "EON" will appear whilst the EON (Enhanced Other Networks information) data is broadcast. You can control the RDS by using the remote control only.
