To ensure safe operation, the three-pin plug supplied must be inserted only into a standard three-pin power point which is effectively earthed through the normal household wiring. Extension cords used with the equipment must be three-core and be correctly wired to provide connection to earth. [. . . ] In the FM mode, press the SEARCH MODE button twice. · Each time this button is pressed, the search mode changes as follows; RDS SRCH TP SRCH PTY SRCH OFF · "TP SRCH" is displayed. 2. When "RDS SRCH" is displayed, press the ENTER button. 2. DISPLAY In the FM mode, ENGLISH 1. In the FM mode, press the SEARCH MODE button three times. · Each time this button is pressed, the display mode changes as follows: Program Service name (PS) Program Type (PTY) Surround mode Clock Time (CT) Frequency Radio Text (RT) · "PTY SRCH" is displayed. Volume 2. When "PTY SRCH" is displayed, select the desired program type. · If the signals are too weak or no RDS service is available, "NO NAME", "NO PTY", "NO TIME" or "NO TEXT" will be displayed. · Each time these buttons are pressed, one of 32 different types of programs is selected. When the desired program is displayed, press the ENTER button. · The tuner automatically searches a station offering PTY services. · If no station is found, "NO PROG" is displayed. 26 PLAYING MUSIC FILES · When connecting a USB mass storage device to this unit, you can enjoy MP3 or WMA files stored on it through this receiver. · A total of 65536 folders and files can be supported. Therefore, it is not possible to play folders and files that exceed the maximum limitations. MP3 · MP3 files must have a ". mp3" or ". MP3" file name extension. · It is recommended that you record your material at a 44. 1kHz sampling rate, using the 96~320 kbps data transfer rate. · Fixed bit-rate files are recommended.
